All children are different and we have designed the website to give you a picture of how we meet the individual needs of children. We acknowledge and celebrate the importance of parental involvement and we would like you and your child to always feel valued and involved.

KINDERGARTEN AND DAY CARE PROGRAMS

Language & Literacy Development

Make early attempts at speaking, Use sounds & gestures to express needs, build an understanding of words through interactions including reading books, etc.

Executive Function

Work on early memory skills, use different approaches to solve simple problems, remember the location of objects like a specific toy, complete two-step tasks like finding and stacking red blocks when asked to build a tower, etc

Social & Emotional Development

Form attachment to familiar adults, begin to interact with other children, express some emotions through sounds, facial expressions and movements, etc.

Physical Development & Wellness

Work on physical milestones like rolling over and crawling, Learn to walk and start running, Start to cooperate with care routines like getting dressed and washing hands, etc.

Cognitive Development

Begin to distinguish between familiar and unfamiliar things, Begin to copy the simple actions of others, Perform actions to gain a response, Use the five senses to explore and observe, etc.

Creative Expression

Begin to explore bright, contrasting colours, express feelings through movement, create art using materials like crayons and clay, use creative movement to demonstrate feelings, etc
